Conditions of Use


Prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via the website. Prices in our stores may be higher or lower than shown. Special Offers and promotions advertised in the press or other media may be excluded unless specifically advertised as available online. All prices are correct at time of display online and include V.A.T. where appropriate. In the unlikely event of an administrative error resulting in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct the price. In these circumstances, you will not be bound to continue with your purchase, and will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed.


Our online store can accept orders originating from and for delivery to mainland U.K. Click the "add to cart" button on the product information page. If a product is not available to buy online the "add to basket" button will not appear and will be replaced with "Contact Us". After making your selections use the "Checkout" link. You will be able to review and amend your order before proceeding through the simple 3-Stage Checkout process. We will ask for details of your billing address - this MUST be the address at which your Credit/Debit card is registered - and email/phone contact details so we can contact you if we need to discuss your order. You will be given the opportunity to select a different delivery address later in the checkout process. Finally we will ask for details of the Credit/Debit card you wish to use to make your payment. You will then be shown a final confirmation page summarising all the details of your order. Clicking "Confirm This Order” will generate and transmit your order to our warehouse where we will begin to process it. If you need to amend your order after it has been generated, please contact us via the “Contact Us” page on the website. Wilco Direct will confirm receipt of your order by sending an email to you using the address you supplied when registering with our website, however this will not bring into existence a legally binding agreement between us. All orders placed on are subject to stock availability and to the validation checks described in the section below. Also please refer to the Pricing section above regarding incorrect prices. No contract will exist between you and Alfa Specialists Ltd. for the sale of products by us to you until your credit/debit card has been charged. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your order and to have been effectively communicated to you. Please note that the only language in which the contract can be concluded is English. We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards. Payment will be debited to your account at the time your purchase is despatched.

Validation Checks

All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit, debit and charge cards, Alfa Specialists Ltd. will validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g. Electoral Roll data). We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to dispatch your order or we may be unable to accept your order.


The majority of card issuers cover all the charges that may result from unauthorised use of your credit card or debit cards, but some may limit your liability to £50. If you believe your credit or debit card has been subject to unauthorised use you should contact your card issuer without delay.

Delivery of Goods

We can deliver to addresses within mainland U.K although for deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses and certain remote locations e.g. Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands there may be an additional delivery charge and slightly longer delivery lead time. Please contact us for further details. Goods can be delivered either to your home address, to an alternative address or to your work. Your order will be delivered either by ParcelForce, Royal Mail or a local carrier. A signature is required for all ParcelForce and carrier deliveries. If your order contains more than one product the individual products may, on occasions, be sent on multiple dispatches.

Delivery Times

Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working days does not include weekends or National Bank Holidays). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days. From the receipt of your order we will endeavour to deliver your chosen items to you within 5 working days providing the goods are in stock, unless a longer delivery time is shown on the product information page. Express delivery's will be delivered within 2 working days on orders received by 3pm the previous day, orders placed after 3pm will be handled the next working day. Deliveries to non-Mainland or remote locations may take longer. Please ask for further details. Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery. Goods delivered by courier should arrive between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives the Courier will leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for redelivery or for you to collect the goods from the local depot. We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified in this section, however occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

After-Sales Service and Guarantees

Our normal warranty is 30 or 90 days depending upon whether the item is electrical or mechanical, unless the item is brand new from the Manufacturer.  In this case the Manufacturer's guarantee would be applicable.

Restrictions on Ordering and Delivery

We can only accept orders from holders of credit or debit cards registered at UK addresses. We can deliver to most addresses in mainland U.K. Please contact us for details of delivery outside mainland U.K.

Complaints and Queries

If you are not happy with any aspect of our online service or if you have any queries or comments relating to an order placed online, please either e-mail us via the “Contact Us” page on the site or write a letter to the address given on that page and we will do everything we can to help you.

Returns Policy

Under the Consumer Protections (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within a 7-day "cooling-off" period, which commences the day after delivery was made. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel under these regulations, you must inform Alfa Specialists Ltd. of your intention to cancel the order by either email, telephone, fax or by post within the 7-day "cooling off" period. Once you have informed us of your right to cancel, you must continue to take good care of the goods and retain possession of them until they are returned by yourself. You will be required to return the goods at your own cost, via an insured carrier and within 30 days. If the goods are returned within 30 days, in their original packaging and in a re-saleable condition, we will issue a full refund, less any delivery charges made. If you are unable to arrange the return yourself, we will be pleased to do so, but a charge will be made for this, which we would deduct from any refund due. Delivery Charges will not be refunded as delivery is a service which is completed when the original delivery is made.

Faulty Goods

Electrical parts are covered by our 30 day warranty and mechanical parts 90 days. If the goods develop a fault within this time period, please inform us immediately. We will arrange a collection of the items in question and if confirmed to be faulty, we will be pleased to replace the items with replacement ones, or in the event of the same item no longer being available, an equivalent (if there is one). You may wish to receive a refund instead, which we will be pleased to issue. If the goods develop a fault after more than 30/90 days from delivery, but less than 12 months, once again, please inform us immediately to see whether any Manufacturer's guarantee applies.

Colour Reproduction

Reproduction of colour online is as accurate as photographic and electronic processes will allow.

During the processing of your order, your information may be required to be transmitted more than once. At no point are your personal details sent in an unencrypted format.
